Are You Finding Value In Others?

In today's world, we all have differenting opinions and our differences seem to spark an anger in each other.  We begin to think that they need to think like us or need to agree with us and the other person feels the same way.  These differences are in the political climate, in the ways we conduct ourselves and the way we wish others would conduct themselves.

How often to we take a step back and try to understand one another? When we think we are trying to understand, how often do we interject our own opinion or try to change the way they're looking at it?

It's important to celebrate our differences because it's our differences that will change the world for the better.  It's ok to disagree, but it's not ok to treat someone poorly because they disagree.

My challenge to you this week is to listen to someone who has a different opinion than you and not judge them on their beliefs.

How Can You Help This Week?

One thing we need to do better, especially as men, is ask for help.  This is something I am working on more consciously.  In order to get the podcast in front of more people and continue to have great guests, I need your help.  If there's an episode you've listened to recently and loved, then please leave a 5 star review and why you loved the episode.

For Spotify reviews you can click here and for Apple users you can click here.

As always, I am thankful for each and every one of you.

When Was the Last Time You Tried Something New?
In the last email we talked about our relationship with food. So, when was the last time you were adventorous with your food? Have you really paid attention to what food brings your body joy and what causes it to be sluggish? In the latest episode of Choose to Live, Love & Grow, Kate Galli and I talk about what it is like being on a plant-based diet. When you want to eat a certain way, it can b...
How Is Your Relationship With Food?
When was the last time you were asked this question? It's not a question we hear often or even ask ourselves often, but it begs the question: why not? When you look at food, do you look at it as sustanance so you can continue your tasks at hand? Maybe you look at it in a sense of indulgence, or a reward after a long day. How should we look at it if we truly want to be the best version of oursel...
Have You Reflected On Your Goals Lately?
We're halfway through the year now and I've got a question for you: Have you reflected on your goals lately? This is one significant factor when it comes to people succeeding at their New Year's Resolutions or goals set after the New Year.  We set it, then forget about it.   Don't be that person. Look back at the goals you've set and ask yourself if you're still alligned with them.  Do they sti...
